Plant-based Diet For Weight Loss

Tuesday, December 13th, 2011

I am often asked “Does acupuncture work for weight loss?”. While acupuncture can be an important part of a weight loss program, it is not enough if the person is not willing to make lifestyle changes.

The secret to weight loss is: There is no secret! It takes a committment to diet and exercise in order to make lasting change. There is no shortage on opinions on what constitutes the best diet, but I feel the research is clear that a plant-based diet is the absolute best way to go. One of our recent success stories is Mike O’Brien.

Here is Mike before deciding to follow our program:

Mike was told by his doctor that he needed to go on diabetes medicine. Instead Mike comitted to a plant-based diet and exercise program at our facility.

And here he is less than one year later:

Mike can do it and so can you! Call the office for a free consultation and make 2012 the best year ever!
